How Do I Purchase / Collect A Padlock 24/7?

Once you have purchased a padlock over the phone you will receive a text message with the Collection Box number and the Collection Box code.
Can I Give A Friend Or Colleague My Access Code & Unit Key?

The Customer can give their friend, colleague or subcontractor access to their unit via their code with keys to their Unit; however it is at the customer’s own risk and we will not be held responsible for any problems arising from this arrangement.
How Long Can I Rent For?

Our minimum rental period is 1 month but you are welcome to store with us for as long as you need to. We do accept payment of up to 1 year upfront with discounts offered, subject to our terms and conditions.
Do You Offer Removals?

No, but we can provide you with contacts depending on how much needs moving and how far it needs to be taken.
Do Storage Units Get Condensation?

All our container units are specced for self storage use, have ventilation and are sealed wind and watertight. It is important to remember, if someone brings wet items into the unit there will be condensation issues as this water will be trapped inside, as would occur with any self storage unit in an industrial building.
What Happens If I Need More Or Less Space?

No problem, you can transfer to a different sized unit at any time, providing the size you need is available.
Signing Our Rental Agreement / Terms and Conditions

Our rental agreement / terms and conditions are signed using an e-sign document. Once the move-in has been processed either online, by phone or on site, you will receive an email with your unit details and a link to the e-sign document. You can use this to review the terms and sign the agreement at the bottom of the document. Once this has been done, click finish. Upon completion, the document will be automatically sent back to us and you will be permitted access to our facility.
Can I store a vehicle in my container?

Giving Notice On My Storage Unit

We don't require notice, simply cancel your subscription and empty your unit before the next billing period. Once the unit is clean, clear & the padlock removed, we require a photos of the inside of the unit and outside with the padlock removed & sent to us via email.
Are there any items that cannot be stored?

Once you have reserved your storage on Explorage.com, you will receive an email from us confirming your
details. You will also be able to access your reservation at any time from your Explorage.com dashboard,
which you can login to.
The storage operator will also receive a similar email (and a call for good measure), and will then
contact you directly to request any additional details they might need to complete your storage
agreement, this often includes verifying your ID, confirming payment details, and signing the storage
agreement. Once this is completed, you can move your things in :)
How soon can I move my things in?

Moving in to your storage unit is quick and easy, and the timing depends on the storage operator you choose.
To get started, simply click "Reserve" for the storage unit you want and choose a preferred "Move In" day from the available calendar. The calendar will indicate any days that are unavailable for moving in, such as Sundays or days that require prior notice.
Once you've made a reservation on Explorage.com, the storage operator will contact you via email to request any additional details needed to finalize your storage agreement. This may include verifying your ID and signing the agreement. Once the formalities are completed, you can usually move in right away.
Additionally, you can find information about the storage operator's office hours and the hours you can access your storage unit, which might be different.
If you have an urgent moving need or can't find suitable move-in dates on the calendar, feel free to reach out to us via call or message. We'll do our best to make arrangements with the storage operator on your behalf.
