No deposit is needed for storage (£30 deposit for a specialised padlock for containers) Simply pay 1 month on move in, then monthly on the 1st of each month. We accept most major credit/debit cards (no AMEX), cash, standing order or bank transfer.
Is insurance included or do I need my own?

Unless previously agreed in writing by a director or other authorized company representative, the following items must not be submitted for removal or storage and will under no circumstances be moved or stored by us. 1 Prohibited or stolen goods, drugs, pornographic material, potentially dangerous, damaging or explosive items, including gas bottles, aerosols, paints, firearms and ammunition. 2 Jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones or metals, money, deeds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of any similar kind. 3 Plants or goods likely to encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infestation or contamination. 4 Perishable items and/or those requiring a controlled environment. 5 Any animals, birds or fish. 6 Goods which require special licence or government permission for export or import.

What happens after I book?

Once you have reserved your storage on Explorage.com, you will receive an email from us confirming your
details. You will also be able to access your reservation at any time from your Explorage.com dashboard,
which you can login to.
The storage operator will also receive a similar email (and a call for good measure), and will then
contact you directly to request any additional details they might need to complete your storage
agreement, this often includes verifying your ID, confirming payment details, and signing the storage
agreement. Once this is completed, you can move your things in :)
How soon can I move my things in?

Moving in to your storage unit is quick and easy, and the timing depends on the storage operator you choose.
To get started, simply click "Reserve" for the storage unit you want and choose a preferred "Move In" day from the available calendar. The calendar will indicate any days that are unavailable for moving in, such as Sundays or days that require prior notice.
Once you've made a reservation on Explorage.com, the storage operator will contact you via email to request any additional details needed to finalize your storage agreement. This may include verifying your ID and signing the agreement. Once the formalities are completed, you can usually move in right away.
Additionally, you can find information about the storage operator's office hours and the hours you can access your storage unit, which might be different.
If you have an urgent moving need or can't find suitable move-in dates on the calendar, feel free to reach out to us via call or message. We'll do our best to make arrangements with the storage operator on your behalf.
